Alique Malakian is a first-year graduate student in the M.S. Kinesiology program with an emphasis in biomechanics. She graduated with her B.S. in Kinesiology from Biola University in Spring 2023, where she also took part in the Torrey Honors College. Throughout her time as an undergraduate student, she has held several on-campus jobs, such as being a Supplemental Instruction Coach for General Chemistry II, Senior Peer Academic Advisor, and Teaching / Lab Assistant for Biomechanics. Now at CSUN, she is teaching 2 units of KIN 152A: Soccer. Her career goals are oriented toward either working in the biomechanics industry or pursuing a doctorate and becoming a university-level professor. Outside of school, she enjoys being active in the outdoors by hiking, running, and skiing, and playing sports such as soccer and tennis.
