Isaiah J Lachica, M.S. received his B.S. in Kinesiology (major in Exercise Science) and his M.S. in Kinesiology (with a focus in Motor Behavior) from California State University, Northridge. He is currently a Ph.D. student in Biokinesiology at the University of Southern California. Isaiah is primarily interested in understanding the neural and biomechanical processes that control locomotion, especially in people with movement disorders such as Parkinson’s disease. He is also interested in developing non-pharmacological interventions to address Parkinsonian gait using virtual and augmented reality technology.
