After having her first experience in kinesiology in a high school class, Naira became intrigued with the practice of physical therapy and the fundamentals of human biomechanics. Having been a dancer all her life, she was always fascinated with movement, so it was all the more rewarding when she decided to major in the study of human movement in college. Coming to CSUN as a transfer student, she was amazed to see the depth of information she could receive through her classes and studies. During the summer after her junior year, Naira received an email asking for participants in 2 different studies, which sparked a new curiosity in her and caused her to join the Move Learn Lab the next semester. Having done some research on the combination of video games, technology, and improving human movement, her experiences in the lab combined two of her interests in a way she never expected. Having graduated with honors in 2023 with a Kinesiology B.S. with an emphasis in Exercise Science, she continues to spend her time as a physical therapy aide and being intrigued in the marriage of technology and kinesiology
