Shawna is an undergraduate student at California State University, Northridge majoring in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Exercise Science. She was a competitive Latin American dancer for over a decade and has been spreading her passion for dance as a dance instructor for the past five years. Shawna aspires to use her knowledge and experience to become a Physical Therapist in her near future. Although this is her first semester in the lab, she is excited to incorporate her interests in human movement through several research projects and studies. Outside of the lab, she enjoys traveling, volunteering, and engaging in physical activities.
