Alumni

Talin Bakalyan is an alumna of CSUN, where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree with honors in Kinesiology with a minor in Child and Adolescent Development. She has always been fascinated by human movement in high school through volleyball and dance, and taking an anatomy/physiology course in high school sparked her interest in the health sciences. Therefore, combining her positive and compassionate personality with her interests in Kinesiology, she is pursuing physical therapy with special interests in Pediatrics. She continues to explore many aspects of research and technology and hopes to present in many research conferences with the Move Learn Lab until attending a Doctor of Physical Therapy program. Currently, she is completing prerequisite courses and tutoring anatomy students at Glendale Community College. She is also volunteering at Children’s Hospital, Los Angeles with the PT/OT Rehabilitation Department and is a lead exercise instructor for 3 WINS Fitness in the San Fernando Valley. In her free time, she loves dancing, hiking, and traveling to new places (she recently came back from Thailand this summer 2023)!
